I know a lot of you are not even really sure exactly South Africa is, or perhaps you have heard about Nelson Mandela and apartheid and blah blah blah, to be honest, as interesting as our history is and as depressing our current political state is, we love it here!

Here are just a few pics why, and why you need to visit if you ever get the opportunity! (not to mention the unlimited riding space!)

These are lichia amia, or Garrick, we call them Leerie's (Short for Leervis, which means leather fish - they have tough skin!) They are easily caught in estuaries as well as ocean, they are related to Kingfish and give an awesome fight and thrills especially on the surface!

Awesome! Il be in Cape Town over Easter to see family etc, Will grab some pics, been a while since I was there. Its by far the best governed city here and therefore the nicest to live. but Im happy on the east coast!
