when ever i leave my atv parked up theres always gas leaking out of the over-flow pipe(by the rear shock) why is it doing this? can i stop it without turning off the fuel tap?

if it has the stock 26 mikuni and it's the line off the bottom of the bowl, there is a screw to drain the bowl there. Might need to be tightened up. If the side vent hoses are dripping fuel then you need to clean the carbs flow needle first then if it still dribles then adjust the float height. Hope that helps you

tnx, i gave you a rep ;)

carb could be dirty too. I know my 4 poke timberwolf was doin that, and I took it apart and cleaned the carb completely. The float stopped sticking and it quit pissing gas.

my warrior was doing that real bad. i cleaned the carb twice and still same problem. so i stuck a bolt in the hose and problem solved.

sounds like a dirty needle valve seat, as said above, take aprt the float ass. and check the needle seat for junk in there

That's like sticking a plug in your ASS. Fix your sh*t right !! If cleaning carb real good doesn't do it get new float needle and seat. Two stroke will be rich/flood , 4S rich/flood/dilute oil (BOOM).
