whats up everyone? I'm Bubba I'm new to the world of 2 strokes and just acquired a 2000 blaster with a 250cc kit and I have noticed most blasters have an oil injection system that mine seems to be missing and i would like to find out if this is bad and i need to fix it or if its ok to keep premixing the fuel?:-/ anyway I'm a certified Harley-Davidson tech and i tinker on a little bit of everything 4 wheels or 2, I currently own a 59 Ford F100, 63 VW Baja Bug, 67 VW beetle, 93 Ford F150, 02 Mazda Protege5, 79 Suzuki GS850, 86 Yamaha Radian, 00 Yamaha Blaster, 08 Yamaha Grizzly350, and last and definitely least, an E-Ton rascal 50, I'm just a redneck gearhead, hope to make some friends and learn a little too, thanks,

Welcome to the forum man! The previous owner most likely removed the injection system... They arent very reliable anyway.

welcome to the site thats quite a collection of toys you got there. the oil injection thats missing is a good thing that just means that they already blocked it off the pump uses a plastic gear that is said to fail mine never did but i blocked it off to run an aftermarket carb that might be the same reason yours is gone

hey bubba, welcome, and the oil injection missing is supposed to be a good thing, just make sure to mix accurately with a good 2 stroke synthetic oil, and most guys do
32:1 premix
your well on your way to getting addicted to this place, ask away bro, lots of helping hands here

just a little helpful hint they dont make a 250 kit for a blaster...
there IS a such thing as a 240 kit
and there are stroker kits...
but the biggest you can make a blaster engine is 244cc with the big bore and stroker kits that are available...
oh yeah and welcome

Welcome around here!
Yup you probably have a 240 kit.
For the record you can go up to 265cc's but they aren't that commom.

welcome to the site bro. Lot of info on here. I just bought a Blaster a little while ago and everything you need to know you can find here or someone can answer for you.
