Yeh i think it needs more sanding...evening out some spots, but I'm not gonna spend hours on a kicker tho! Thanks man..

I here ya. Its just going to get kicked around anyway ahha. Build is coming along nicely though man, got any other pics of some stuff put together?

Not at the moment...I am in the middle of texting someone with some works shocks...so that may be on the list of soon to be gotten items! 400ex rear shock, works front, hopefully +2+1 a arms, and +3 swinger it should look pretty good! oh I am gonna have the 03+ plastics...i will say this...the plastics are going to be new and a different color! I will show them after the bike gets put together...I figured out i am doing the frame in a charcoal metallic, orange transparent parts, and polished stuff. I may sand down the surface of the rotors, and hubs, then polish them for powder coating as well. Decided on Banshee wheels as well and they will be polished. All calipers polished and hopefully smooth. Already got the fender brace for the front polished up, and cut the rear brake light to accomodate my new LED brake light i bought. It has amber, and red lights in it.

Still alot of parts to get...but slowly coming along! I am just as excited as you guys are...I see it done in my mind, but dammit it needs to be done now!

Very cool what you did with the kick starter. In my opinion it's the little custom things that count. I guess I know what I'll be doing with my kicker. Good luck on the rest of the build.

Thanks man! Just took a 4 1/2 grinder with a flap wheel grinding disk and smoothed it out, then smoothed it more with a drum sanding disk on the dremel, then sanded it down with 120 grit sandpaper by hand, then polished it with mothers and the dremel. Not much to it! And cut that annoying flap off...

i know all the details on this build lol you best be good to me j or ill leak it out lol jk man....kicker looks good but not good enough yet.....worked on mine somemore tonight but i am waiting on my dremel drums......

Haha...yeh ya got some blackmail material on me now! pretty soon, as soon as I weld up my hydro brake bracket for the rear, it will be done in the charcoal metallic.

Yeh the kicker will get smoothed out some more...I just need to take my time sometimes instead of rushing!

Its the worst when your polishing though! Spending all that time sanding and what not, you just wanna see it shine. I spent 7 hours on my raptor clutch cover the other night. Did the sanding in 2 days now comes the polishing he he I:I

Sorry guys...I'm starting to get into the swing of it again....i'll post up more later. My daughter is sick as well...along with my son. I also buried a close cousin lately at the age of 37 so alot has happened lately to put a halt on things...

Silly...I hope you got those tires and rims

Good deal...I got my raptor stock rims in that I got off ebay a week ago and they look to be in great condition...got some shee hubs on the way too for them to fit. Still got tires, a arms, and plastics to go. I still got 3+ months so I should have it in time for the summer. If i get the metal tomorrow, I'm starting on my swingarm.

Just a quick mock up of what it looks like now. i gotta do some gusseting and more strengthening on the shock mount and a grade 8 bolt. Like I said...quick mock up so there is still alot of fine tuning to do. Had to re locate the shock mount because it was too far forward. There will be some strengthening in place of that hole there and completely covered up.
