as it says above were tearing my motor apart tomorrow to re build the topend ( rings piston maby bore and hone) any advice on what to do and what not to do i just dont want to mess any thing up and we did a compression test and it said 110 and it is suppot to be 140 - 160

110 isn't bad, reason for the rebuild? Also if you decide to go ahead with the rebuild, do a leak down test first to see if you are leaking anywhere

You want to make sure exactly where it is leaking from though so you can address the problem. I don't know how you have diagnosed the air leak though. Is the drain screw stripped? You should only need a washed to help seal the bolt and get it nice and snug

if you look under it you can see oil on the drain plug

don't get the vitos gaskets. get oem base and head gaskets. the vitos don't seal well. def do a leakdown. do not skip the leakdown test. do not skip the leakdown test. do not skip the leakdown test. porting is not just cleaning up the cylinder of flat spots and burs. porting is opening up the ports in the cylinder to specific measurments that improve power. civicdude does port work for a little better of a price. it's just all dependng on what kinda power ya wanna make. OEM gaskets head mod is one of the biggest power gains also.
