Teardown and Slow Build

Mine as well start a build thread. I'm gonna have it sand blasted and start painting parts here soon hopefully, goin with red frame and black A-arms and swinger unless anyone has some better suggestions? Anyway heres some pics

thats actually a nice looking blasty... good luck on the rebuild... Im about to tear mine down for the winter i need all kinds of odds and ends. Im ordering the stainless bolt kit and sand blast and paint the frame, on and on... Im in adams county, by manchester you ever get out this way?

if you are keeping that plastic, then ya black and red sounds good. by paint, you rattle canning it? or PC? or doing an actually paint job like a car?
any performance mods?

and that piston is fubar.

That's a pretty clean quad to start with, don't worry about having the build go slow. I started mine about Sept of 09 and now have a rolling chasis. Between going to school and other money pits it's hard to find time and more importantly the cash. Good luck on it, I'm sure it'll be sweet

Nope my quad is tore apart and so is my samurai dammit. Some of my buddies are goin this weekend though to haspin then big rock both on saturday

probably rattle can. maybe powdercoat just the frame IDK im gonna need a new swinger probably with my mods. Doin either +3 or +4 crank, porting, 35pwk, f7 unless i find a decent cheap pipe on Egay. I need a stock hood if anyone has one the one i have sucks its faded and the screen is gone

you go to big rock, ride for like maybe 2 hours, pack up, drive two hours to haspin then ride for a little til dark.

yeah i found a guy that will do it for $150 but i think if sandblast and take my time painting it, it will look good and yeah i know its a meijer hood maybe ill get one at wal mart instead LOL

Forgot to mention it has a 240 sleeve already and hasnt been bored yet. It should run pretty when i get done
