What are the symptoms you've experienced from having a leaking head gasket? Either from wear and tear or just improper installation. This will hopfully help me understand a problem I'm dealing with.

if you think you have some sort of air leak, the head is probably one of the less common leaks. I would think a base gasket or somewhere in the reed or carb area would leak first. I would perform some type of diy leakdown test. I see your from dayton, i think your the closest on here, I live in springfield.
