Hey guys, in case you dont remember, i had a uni filter get a rip in it which let about a cup of sand get run though my motor which basically ruined my topend lol. So it was time for a re-build, and after searching about a 15 mile radius of my home i found nobody who did two stoke cylinder boring....went to ebay and bam! SUMMIT OFFROAD...STARKE, FLORIDA...buy it now for $149. Send them your jug, and in no time you get back your freshly bored and honed cylinder, matched Wiesco forged piston, rings, wrist pin, and cir-clips...and they pay the return shipping! Quality of work is great, turnaround time is good, and price is pretty hard to beat. Thought this might be a good resource and good info for guys doin top end jobs. Check them out for your next rebuild, great top end job for a great price. Any questions hit me up

Good deal for sure. I ended up paying 65 from a dealer for bore/hone, but was the only place driving distance from me. Next time I have to this I will look into them.

pretty sick. yeah it just costs me 65 bucks for a bore and hone. last one didnt cost me anything since i was doing co op through school with them. they did some other stuff for me too was great.

well not to burst your bubble but flotek kennedy and wildcard do them too, did you look into them too? i know what they charge for a bore, and the piston kit is not that expensive, you would spend about the same if it was one of them doing it. but good find since you don't have resources near you

A wiseco forged piston kit is around 100 with bearing, so if they do all that then that is way cheaper then most anyone else. Unless theres fine print or something haha.

I would have loved to have had flotek or kennedy or wildcard do it....but to be honest it was just way easier... and probably cheaper to just click a button on ebay and send it out rather than negotiate prices via pm's and what not. No offense to any of the builders on here, but sometimes its about how you get your services out there rather than what you can do. Plus the builders on here aren't trying to make their money doing bore jobs, let them stick to what they do best, porting and makin power with personal engine builds, not just boring a jug and sendin it back. Trust me if/when i get actual motor work done, i will use a builder on here, but a new topend can be had easier and probably cheaper. Just passin my experience on
