So I decided to paint my blaster this summer and it's finally done! I added a few new mods in the process as wellI:I I painted the plastics, front arms, steering stem, rims, rear axle, and handlebars myself. The rest was powder coated. I aslo replaced the front and rear brake pads, installed the shorty rear brake cable, got a new fmf "Q" exhaust silencer, new grips, new front tires, and a new air filter. I would have liked to check the engine but I am new to blasters and 2 strokes in general so I didn't want to mess anything up. This was my first time working on the blaster in the 2 years I've had it besides cleaning the carb and changing trans oil. Hope you like it!!

I didn't put the foot pegs back on yet because I'm missing some screws.

Id suggest an automotive grade paint with a flex agent.as for the op looks killer I like it!few questions though first did you powder coat the pipe and if so how's iit holding up?second what are your plans for the fenders up front or have you totally eliminated them?

I've heard of automotive primer? did you use sandpaper on the plastics? did you primer?
Thankss

looks to me like he may have bought a black rear... I suppose it could be painted as it was my 1st thought, I just was thinking maybe that's why no front ones were painted black and just removed. unless he was just going for changing up the look to more of a race/dune look...

You can just use high temperature paint on the pipe, itll hold up great, you can find it at your local automotive parts store for about 5 bucks a can? comes out a lot cheaper than powdercoating i would think.. I:I

looks 1000 times better man, nice work I:I. as far as the paint questions for a real budget build krylon fusion and high temp grill paint work awesome for the 12 bucks a few cans cost..
