stock mods

HIIIIIIIIII anyone know any stock mods i could do to my blaster 06 se ??? think i should remove fenders and remove airbox lid .. cAN i remove the airbox lid :-/?? bike is completey stock exept for oil blackoff which i hate(coz im LAZY!)

you can take the airbox lid off but when you do anything to give the motor more air you need to rejet, which means putting a bigger main jet in the carb. its super easy all you have to do is remove the bowl on the bottom of the carb and take out the little brass jobbie in the middle. a stock jet is 230, so with a bone stock engine with no airbox lid i would get a few jets around the 270 area and get to work.

yeah, its super easy. take the carb off, its only two clamps. then take teh 4 screws out of the bowl and it will come off, in the middle you will see a little brass jet. its a 6mm head, take it out and put the bigger one in. i think you should read up on jetting and plug chops before you getinto modding though. incorrect jetting will lead to a meltdown...

there are alot of better pipes out there but the fmf is better than stock.

fmf is a good starter pipe man....works well on a mostly stock engine....and there is a billion of them out there real cheap!

I think Yamaha also built a billion Blasters.
Lots of pipes available on ebay
