Stock handlebar dimensions?

The stock stem is 1 1/4 and has about a .086 wall thickness.

.058 wall thickness is less than 1/16", i think that may be a little thin.
I think i may go with .065 wall thickness, its a little thicker then 1/16".

What wall thickness do you guys use?

i don't know, i remember it being thin, but it is chro-mo, and thats it's purpose...1/2 as thick but twice as strong as similar mild steel
