I have a 2004 blaster. No performance mods at all. It is very hard to start in the cold. It starts with 5 or 6 kicks in the summer. Then once it warms up while riding the trottle just climbs up until I hit the kill switch. I'm assuming its the carb but have no idea what to check for. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks

Leak test before it climbs into your wallet.

^^^^^^^^^^ The rising idle usually means you have an air leak. Too much air can melt your piston. Airleak test asap. A member, Awk08, on her sells them very cheap. Shoot him a PM and don't ride it till it is tested.
