Hey guys back again I took the blaster out yesterday for my first trail ride on a quad and I'm sore now bur had a blast she ran great besides on hills even in first gear it would sputter like crazy almost causing me to get stuck seems like when when the quads goin up hill it's losing gas any ideas???

gotta be the float adjustment, or sumthin clogging the float valve/seat not allowing enuf fuel into the bowl, i'd pull and completely clean the carb, set the float height, and possibly check the petcock screen for good flow
stock carb float adjustment is 20-21.5mm measured like this.............

aftermarket carbs will have different float height's, you'll have to google that
my 34mm pj is 16-18mm

electrical problems like to rear their head under heavy loads also, change your plug, and check for a good ground connection at the coil mount (black wire)

Gotta be a float issue I think cause even when doin wheelies really slow it sputters I'm gonna take the carb off tommorow nd try to set the float level again

your also in high rpms when you wheelie or go up hills? if so then could be a coil had a similar problem also showed up when i would race for the hell of it but at wto it would go crazy

I'm starting to think maybe i have a jetting issue I'm running v force reeds and a paul turner fatboy 2 silencer wat size jets should i run

Sorry I didn't do any of the mods I got it as is paul turner full exhaust v force reeds, oil block off kit, everything else seems stock on the motor starts first kick everytime

Hey guys I finally got the blaster running perfect, I went down to the dealer and bought a carb rebuild kit and a 250 main jet I put it all together and this thing rips and I can wheelie it like no Tommorow and come to find out the previous jet was a 290 :/ basically over kill

Make sure you check your plug. 250 may be a tad lean. Also there is a washer that goes right under the main jet. If thats not there itll mess with how far your main jet screws in,

i say a 260 is still lean for a pt pipe and vf3's
better search for, read, read and re-read how to do "plug chops"
