Hi guys well iv been advertised a ad on my local site looking for a job.

never had replied until sunday. guy messaged me saying he will offer me a days work doing gardening and laying a lawn.

well after wakening up at 5am. getting picked up at 8:30am and finishing at 6:00 pm. my head, back, arms, legs and ribs are sore!!

heres some pictures.

ment to say guy is going to contact me again if he needs a hand :D not bad as i got £65/$100 for the day :) also starting my adult based education soon :D

Looks really good!! :D

Did you put grass seed under it?
When laying sod thats the best way to get it to not move and have good grass for years!
The seed will grow up through the sod and hold it, while no weeds grow and the grass is strong I:I

the guy sorted ground for us laying the turf just took weeds out and put it down :) had to go get a hose to get water as it was hot here yesterday and it was drying out quick.

Get a good education so you DON'T HAVE TO do that for a living.

yeah tell me about it lol. going to my course next thursday to arrange days for going to do the work. either going to do my original idea (quad/bike mechanic) or something to do with warehouse work. not being a gardener anyway lol my back is killing me today

Hey, I did that for a summer. Actually was working for a campground. Cut the stuff too.
I was in the Army Reserve while I was in highschool. Paid to play soldier and shoot guns and anti-tank rockets.
Got off work soldiering at 5pm and when immediately to throwing bales of hay until dark for extra pay.
I was a whooer for money in those days. As a matter of fact, I did take a welding course, didn't like it, then took machining.

Keep at it. The pain will ease, you will have arms of steel and jingle in your pocket.
