78 invader...had it running good rode it for like 10 min

came back home shut it down

tried to start it 10 min later and wont start

sounds like it wants to start and does somtimes and idles really low and iif i blip the gas it boggs and slowly dies

yea dude my 77 el tigre does that,i would rebuild the carbs with stock jetting,there just so old and worn imo.theres always ether go or blow lol

getting old sleds going after they have sat a while is tough. best thing to do is get the track off the ground and try to get it going, use starting fluid we do it allllll the time with the old sleds. if its still crappy clean EVERYTHING all the way down to removeing the tank and cleaning it good too. a few sets of new plugs helps too.

check the compression and clean out the carbs...just like a bike but it don't have wheels
