i've had nothing but trouble with these stupid wally world lights. one of my lights went out again they keep letting water or mud in and messing up the bulbs. anyone have any fixes for this? i think i'm gonna just put a 03+ hood and light on

not to try and persuade you away from the newer style hood and light but it will probably run you 80-100 bucks for them. I want to replace mine and every light i see is atleast 50 bucks just for the damn light. as for the wally world lights i would try sealing them up with silicon or something

haah my big ass lights saved me from a big rock thrown from a dirt bike tire, are 2 yrs old and light up the night. total cost= $16 lol I:I I:I

i just keep losing bulbs. idk whether its water, vibration, or voltage. gonna check in a few days to make sure they r getting 12v. idk how to seal it from water though. i'm using GE Bulbs, what kinds are everyone else using?

Yeah I had given up hope about switching over to the newer style hood and light due to cost but then holeshot had killer prices in his for sale thread and
I snagged both hood and light for $55 shipped for both.

Haha that'd be me, unfortunately I don't know how the damn thing wires up and can't get any help haha.

i don't get how to seal it with silicon. i need to b able to get it open to replace bulbs but the rubber washers should b a good idea. is there anyone on here that uses them that uses different bulbs or anything special to not beak bulbs

you just have to look at the wiring diagram for the 88-02 and then the 03-06 and match it up

I can't find a diagram for the newer blasters. I only have my phone for the Internet so I can't look at any zip or PDF files... Pain in the ass.

also i think you need to keep the bulbs to like 20 watts i know in household applications to high of wattage will mess you up

I'm taking off whats left of my wallys too , lost a bezel in the dunes , the other one the spot welds on the bracket cracked , I'm switching to a single 55w round driving light
