Should I Buy Completely Stock '90 Blaster for $1600

i bought a 1999 yamaha blaster but it had 2 hours on the completely rebuilt motor and new keihin 33m carb v force reed valves extended rear and i gave 1300 so i wouldent pay more then 850 for that 1.....
I got my brother a 92 blaster for $250, but dont expect to find a deal that good, that one had been sitting on my uncles barn for 5 years and he bought it from the dealership, it is in perfect condition

I dunno if that would be the best deal! I am in Ontario Canada.. They sell fairly decent if you look around.

I got my 1990 with a full FMF exhaust brand new new MSR bars... Fresh rebuilt engine with hotrod crank.weisco piston,and a Hinson clutch... it Needed tires but everything else was in good shape.
frame just needs paint.. I scored it for $1300.00 got a performance carb and OEM exhaust and some parts thrown in with it ... and I thought I did not get a good deal.
So I dunno I think its too steep.
Just my 2 cents.

but then i turn around and put 700 in at 2 months after i get it. lol.
I think the kid might be caught up in the 'my 1st quad is priceless' state of mind. If you really want this exact Blasty then jes wait. $1600 is way too much for a 19 year old stock quad. Maybe if it was collectible but that's just not the case yet for Blasters. I'd wait or look for another Blaster with mods that you would do for less...
HECK NO! I bought a used 2004 yamaha blaster that was modded to keep up with banshees for $1350. It was a great deal evn though i had to buy a $450 rebuild.
If I were you Id really try talking him down. I mean you can find really nice blaster on Ebay that have a ton of upgrades for the price that hes asking. And newer.
