Shocks

Just wanted to throw out there if anyone finds a good deal on front shocks ( not stockers) keep me in mind. I'm looking for used works or even elkas if they're a few hundred. Worst comes to worse Banshee.

Where I ride there are a lot of roots in the trails and my arms are sore for days after riding.

Look on eBay, and search "banshee front shocks". A lot of times you can find some nice Works. I did for around 200 hundred.

Yay I saw all the banshee shocks but those are last resort. A lot of people say they are only s minor upgrade, not that I would know because I've only rode stock.

Unless you mean find used works for a Banshee? That's a good idea it widens the search for good used works or Elkas.

Sorry and yes that's what I meant. There's a seller named minkia or something along those lines, I've heard to stay clear from him. Just watch eBay they will pop up!

i actually just saw some for 250. hopefully they don't sell right away I just had to get a new dishwasher and while at Lowe's they talked me into buying a new riding lawn mower. a 450 dollar trip quickly turned into a 2800 dollar trip. I need a secret bank account now that I own a blaster lol

How does one aquire that many sets of works

He parts out a LOT of Banshees. He sells every single part, even if it's bent, broke, or rusty. He has a set of standard pics that he uses for all his auctions. It's pretty much guaranteed that the part you receive will not be the one in the pics. I hear that if you are local to him and can go there and pick out a part that's not fubar, you can do OK.

Thank god for you guys I would have wasted 300. He even puts in his description "the part pictured is the exact part you get" scum bag.

^^ I have never bought anything over $20 from that seller. I figure if I needed something and for the $20 if it wasn't what it was than no big loss. I purchased 2 items from them, both under $20. One was what was in pics and the other was close but wasn't it.

You are protected on E bay though. If you were to buy something expensive like shocks and they aren't what they listed than you get your $ back.. Just read the fine print in the listing if there is any..

You may also want to look into longer shocks if you plan on going with wider a arms/long travel. Just a thought..

I plan on staying stock suspension except MAYBE longer axle. Haven't decided but I really like the feel of the quad except the shocks obviously
