Hello All,

I had to open my case and when I reassembled it, I noticed the shift cam assy has a small hole at the top opposite of where the star mounts and can possibly used for alignment?? I can install the shift forks fine but dont know if I need to do anything else before closing. I also need a key for the shift cam star if you know what I am talking about. If anyone can tell me what a suitable replacement is, please let me know because the parts listing shows this as a sub assy and does not list the individual parts. So if there is any magic, tips or tricks for this process, please let me know.

The straight key /Shear key is 5/32. I went to my local hardware store and bought a piece that is 1 1/2 inches long for 60 cents but needs to be cut for the right length. I also bought 4 steel bearings that are 3/16th in diameter for the clutch rod assy.
