Fuji heavy industries is not a chines company they are Japanese, they also own Subaru and have plants in the U.S., Toyota bought 20% of the company from GM 3-4 years ago to gain access to the plants, so if it was stamped U.S.A. than it was probably made in the U.S. i don't think any company these days has any qualms about telling people their sh*t is foreign made.
not true, polaris claims all american, but if you take the atv apart and look at the parts alot of them are stamped made in taiwan. as well the 90cc predators are made by e-ton for polaris, as well polaris got it's start making farm tractors. their own co-founder when asked about their atv line went on the record as saying "if we made 400 machines we got 500 back"
steadily for the past 3 years polaris has issued recalls on their new atv's before they even hit the showroom floor.
polaris has lost millions of dollars in injuries due to defects.
steering stems breaking because of poor quality welds, brake caliper bolts falling out causing the caliper to fall off while riding, oil lines that leaked causing severe burns to the rider, transmission bolts that backed out causing the transmission to lock up suddenly while riding.
and the list is endless......
each year the same old recalls while the add some new exciting feature and ignore the quality issues they have constantly re-occurring.
you'd expect with the money you have to pay out for a polaris and they claim to be all american that you would get a quality machine but that is just not the case.
and polaris has a track record of not honoring the warranty, leaving their customers out in the cold with a piece of crap to constantly repair if they want to ride.
