Anybody ever check them out. I have used them in the past they are usually much cheaper than any local auto place around here.

I bought 2 Wagner server duty rotors and pads for the front of the bonneville, and i needed a engine torque mount, got it all shipped for $117.87

Advanced auto for the same parts, $210
Autozone-------------------------$187
Napa---Dont have wagner but there version-- $234

Pretty bad when you can buy the stuff and have it shipped for less than running down the street to get it! Rotors are heavy too! shipping was $33 total!

Might want to check them out, Oh ya I got everything in 3 days!

Caveat Emptor!

I bought a track bar from them for $46 (plus $13 shipping for a total of $59) and the track bar came in with a loose ball joint. The problem IS NOT the parts they sell (it was an AutoExtra brand which is the same part the local auto parts store brand who quoted me $72) but the fact that you are buying a part from a "jobber" (retailer) and they never touch the part, they only have a different company drop ship it to the customer. The other company does, in all likelyhood, send all their reject crap none of their buyers would buy from them to the Rock Auto customers because lo and behold Rock Auto doesn't have a normal store people are buying from so returning parts is more difficult. There's little risk that the drop shipping company will have any backlash from sending the worst parts they have on hand....

Alas, I did as I have just described and "lived with it".

I needed a knock sensor for my impreza and the local guys it was 89 bucks rock auto 27 shipped got it very next day.

Lets be honest, auto extra brand is the lowest and cheapest parts out there. This is a case of the old saying you get what you pay for. I did not know they drop ship everything and not have a warehouse ran by them, good to know.

I recently started using rockauto after being reffered to them by a co worker.I need a complete front end on my f-150.You know the typical ford problems.I never cheap out on parts and always buy moog front end components. It was close to $600 for moog components from the local autozone, advance, pep boys, etc. I got everything off of rockauto for right around $300 shipped.I did go out and use some coupons on the net for another 5% off. I got these moog components for the same price as the cheapo parts at local stores.Hence auto extra, duralast, trw etc. I highly reccomend to anyone looking to keep that cash in their pocket.

good to know, as i will be doing the front end on my ranger soon, just precautionary, i know i need a wheel bearing/abs sensor, might as well do it all.....bearings, arms, balls, inner and outer tie rod ends

i already have moog sway bar links i got from summit racing on ebay,
their ad on there say "SWAYBAR LINKS" < with an "S"
turns out i recieved one link, i wrote and bitched them out, told them where i come from, an "S" on the end means "plural", and that i should return it and buy elsewhere, but need them asap, so i ordered the other one
they promptly apologized and refunded my money for one link
wooohooo..... 2 for 1 sale over a typo !!!!!

I used to use auto parts warehouse.Bought my rancho shocks and a few other things from them. They couldnt touch rock autos price. They were quite a bit more money compared to rock auto.I had checked them first before anywhere.
