Revs when handle bars turned

Hi all, im new here. So when im on my blaster and turn the handle bars the throttle shoots up. Revs super high(the more i turn the bars the more it revs) till i straighten it. Its not a prob while riding, more for when im getting it out of a garage or turning it around in a trail. Any1 else have this?

it's prolly pinching your throttle cable or something and its casing it to freak out...try re-adjusting your cable and see what happens

yeah, probably got a kink. bicycles brakes locked up once in a turn b/c of that. f*ckin huffy!

mine does that too
but on mine the casing for the throttle cable is broken in a spot, inspect the throttle cable and look for a break in the casing, if you find one spray some lubricant down in it and it will help temporarily

had that problem when the piece by the throttle was broke. check that..

I have had this problom mine was wraped around the stearing stem so be sure that the cable is not wraped around something and that it has a striaght path to the carb

probabnly need to replace the cable by now. i usualy replace at least 1 cable a yaer smoother opperation it only takes 1 grain of sand to bind it up

Sounds like your throttle cable is to short causing it to open the carb when turned try possibly re routing the cable from the bars to the carb.
