remove paint from cylinder/head?

whats the best/easiest way to get the black paint off my head and cylinder? i want the bare aluminum look...

i just used my sand blaster but just repainted it black it dont look like aluminum though

You could try aircraft stripper. That stuff should take the paint off

^^^ was just bout to say that. it takes paint off of everything, so be careful.

I'm not a fan of nasty chemicals like that....go with the sand blaster!

Any auto parts store should have it, it will be in the paint section. Not sure why its called aircraft remover kind of a misleading name., its just a paint stripper with an airplane on the can.

I'd just have it shot blasted. Glass beads would work but if you want it to remain smooth I'd used a soda blast. It will take a little longer to soda blast it but it will be alot smoother.

Just remember to tape off the combustion chamber part.
