Thanks... Another question. For tax returns I'm thinkin about buying a pipe. I am a parts unlimited dealer and was looking through the book. Are moose stage 2 jets alright or would you go another route?
I'd stick with the stock mikuni/keihin jets....little things on the jets can make it not work right....just get Genuine Mikuni if you have the stock Mikuni 26mm carb...
yeah and let us know if you have spare sizes for cheap ..when ordering jets from parts unlimited you get 4 of the same size...thats just how they come unless you buy the combo packs you can get 4 in a certain range....ie. 160,158,156, 154

before ordering a pipe i would check out the pipe review thread, toomy was up there i think but you should check it out its a good read.
Dude, Just because the toomey comes with a 310 jet, uni filter, and the pipe, doesn't mean thats the right size for you! I ran a 320 and it blew mine up!
alright i'll keep researching it will be a while before i do anything else. Just did a complete service on it running good for now. Still here at the shop i've got to take her home and try her out soon. Maybe we'll get some more snow this way
You could possibly have to rejet. However if you keep everything else the same, and do a plugchop just to check and make sure your jetting is alright, you probably won't have to rejet.
You cut away the threads on the sparkplug to check the color. Check out the stickies on Jetting and plugchops...it'll teach you what you need to know.
