i find it rather annoying that the rear hub has a different bolt pattern then the rest of the yamahas. can i just change the hub? if so wich are a direct bolt on if any? i dont think should have ne negative side efects will it?

p.s. thank u very much for all the helpful replies to my recent posts. been a great help to a 2 stroke newb. i ride a yfz450 and the blaster is my secondary and ive been enjoyin wippin the little thing around and hav a good deal of help from guys on here, thanx

yes the hubs from other yamahas will fit. they are all the same i believe except the blaster. all the yamaha quads have the same front wheel pattern but the back are the same from banshee, warrior, raptor, and yfz. just get some banshee hubs and problem solved.

Yup, splines are the same on all the axles, just different hubs. I found a barely used pair of Raptor hubs on ebay for $30+ship, stuck them on the Blaster and now I can use whatever wheel/tire combo I come across. If you're buying used just make sure the splines are in good shape, a loose fitting hub would make for a short and ugly day of riding. You'll be able to find someone parting a yamaha out on craigslist, forums, or ebay. There are some companies that make aftermarket 4/110 and 4/115 hubs, but they're not worth what they'd cost you IMHO. Good Luck.
