i need to get a good pair of rear tires and i want to no wat would be the best i dont race motorcross so i dont want any tight tread but we do ride a lot of pavement to get to the places we ride and i dont want any tires that will wear down easy on pavement. i was thinking holeshot mxr6's cause i alredy have mxr6's for the front just dont got them on now. any suggestions

ITP have several brands of holeshots, i am not too sure about what the difference in brand names, but there will be one they say for hard pack, that will be the best one, seems obvious i guess :P

And that will be your downfall, being that running in mud and pavement are to extremes on the other end of the specture. Or pavement you want a harder rubber to wear long, but in soft dirt and mud you want something soft to grip. I would recomend a good trail tire like my strykers, or I have some experience with carlisle AT489? I belevie they are and they hook up good, but since you have to do a lot of road time a more hard pack tire like holeshots or razyr's would probably hold up better, but don't me surprised if you get hung up a lot more.

we usually dont go riding in the mud unless its me and all my friends and family. but usually its just me and my dad my dad hates mud (sissy) but me go riding in creeks and hillclimbs and stuff so i think they might hold up good.
