Ready to ride

Ya you're correct. I'm just wondering on how hard you pull to get that 1.5 inches. Should you be able to lift it with one finger or pull hard ?

i used to check my dirt bike by putting 3 fingers between swing arm guard and chain lol
you can tell by looking at it if it is to tight and fingering it sometimes?
the suspension travel on a dirt bike is much more though/if it is to tight it will stretch it like a mofo when you jump or compression suspension fully riding.

heres the thing though.

if it is an o-ring chain, it could be stiff. my friends dirtbike you can hardly move by hand because its o-ring and it has old old grease on it

my blaster one moves pretty freely being x-ring

I may take you up on that. I have a few questions, I got everything on heat cycles done just have to retorque and I'm good. I also got my kit in to remove tors block from carb but may hold off on that cause it works fine for now.

So my carb had a very small leak out the overflow only when not running I know I need a new needle already but the petcock was bad too cause it would do it with it turned off. I changed the petcock today with my new one and now it PISSES out running or not. Guess my old one was just clogged.

Good news is I'm done with heat cycles and re torqued the head and base bolts. Rode it around the yard for a little bit and holy crap why in the hell have I never owned a 2 stroke???? The power is insane, I re packed the toomey too so it sounds better.

It needs some dialing in to idle right now that it's getting better gas flow but I'm gonna worry about that when I get my carb rebuild kit in and put the tors delete cap and screw on.

I'm telling you though 2nd gear quarter throttle standing straight up I was shocked and in love at the same time.

Ok so I was able to fix my carb leak with the toothpaste method, Doesn't even drip anymore. So I decided to install the tors delete kit and motion pros throttle cable.

Everything went smooth as far as install goes but now it doesn't seem to be running right. The revs will hang again like there is an air leak but I know there's not. Not sure if anyone had this problem after install?

I have time to work on it today, im thinking I should shave down the carb more where the idle screw goes in even though the idle does change when I tighten and loosen it. Ive also been having trouble with the carb connecting to the intake boot it is almost like its too short so I wonder if I do have an airleak through there.

Alright I got her running real good. Pretty excited actually it idles perfect has great throttle response, I feel like It's finally ready to start modifying/personalizing. I can't wait to actually ride it my yard is only big enough to get into 2nd sometimes 3rd.
You guys rock for walking me through this damn thing.
