Ready to ride

They were only like 10. No man I actually just got my Dremel and oscillating tool so I can sand them and paint. One of the bolts that holds the cover on is completely rounded too so I have to figure out how to get that off so I can put the new one on, I already have it modified so I can put Kens case saver on there. Hoping to get this done this week. Oh I still have to put dual bearing chain rollers on too.

Get some oury grips man! You will love them

I liked them for vibration dampening factor, they were a little big so you had a good grip and they don't get sticky sitting in the sun!

I got my gas cap in too, pretty sweet for 6 dollars. It has a cap at the end of the vent hose though isn't that supposed to be open?

Yes that thing on the end is normal

It's made so the gas doesn't spray around. I had that problem when I was 6 I think. We lost the hose and I kept getting sprayed by gas. Which doesn't smell or taste that good

some off those types have a problem with not letting it vent properly.
so keep an eye on it...most have had great success though:D
picture sucking on a soda bottle and never letting up for air=crush no flow lol

I was just wondering cause the one I have on there now has a hose but not capped

that new cap has very small holes on the underside to allow fumes out/air in to prevent a vapor lock, and a little ball inside so if flipped, it blocks off actual fuel coming out.

the stock vent just routed up and down thru the dash and vented to free air down beside the steering stem,
the one way valve to prevent spillage is in the cap itself on a stock set-up

I thought that looked small in your hand, but figured it was just the pic :(
careful with buying parts from foreign countries, there was a 250 4 stroke blaster (knockoff) sold overseas,
maybe that was for it ?

Ya I figured I would have taken the gamble for a few dollars. On a good note I got the dual bearing chain rollers on today. Have to loosen the chain some it's too tight put the new petcock on tors delete kit heat cycle re torque and will be good. Only have an hour a night though so it will take a few days.

You'll get it. Mine has been a 2 year project.

Plus I bought a sh*tty dremel I got one post cut off and had to recharge the damn thing. I'm kinda confused on the chain slack. When sitting on the quad I can pull the chain up about half inch but it's not slack it's tight but can still pull it up. Is that how it's supposed to be or should there literally be slack there. Idk kinda hard to explain

Ya I know how to loosen and tighten just confused on how hard you pull to measure the slack. The chain is pretty tight but I can still pull it up half inch by pulling on it

With the rider (you) sitting on the atv, there should be about 1.5 inch of slack. I believe manual said 40-60 mm??
let someone else confirm those haha
