Anyone use one? I don't remember seeing anyone on here with one but they are the same length as the Blaster. 15 inches eye to eye.
Raptor 700 rear shock?

Nobody? I saw where it has been talked abot and a member used on on his LT250R but doesnt look like anyone has tried on a Blaster yet. Guess I will be the guinea pig if I can find one cheap enough.
Well I figure most shocks come from the factory for average riders (160-180lbs) and my "extra" 55lbs may help even it out. Worth a shot I figure. Definitely should be better than the worn out stock on that I pulled off my other bike.
Did some research on the raptor forum and the info there is that they are set up for 200lbs stock. If in figure in my my extra weight (235 on a good day
) and extra leverage for a +4 swingarm, I dont think it will be that far off. Alot of guys dont like the Z400 shock either and have the opinion that it is too stiff but I thought it felt plush compared to my stocker although I have to admit that I never got a chance to really rag it out . If I can get one of these cheap I am definately gonna give it a shot on my new project.

No problem. The fronts are definately longer. Same as the 450s I believe. The SE model is anyway.

so do you have an extra r700 shock sitting around or were you going to get one, hell if its sitting in your garage see how it fits/feels I:I
Nope I don't. Looking for a deal on one now. Gonna be a while before I can give a ride report though as I only have a frame and swinger to start with right now.
