random tors connection problems

not that i car BUT.. why wont my wifes blaster run with the tors disconnected?????? one wire was hooked up to it and it would idle but bog out if you touch the gas, with no wires hooked up it wouldnt start at all,,
but with everything hooked up it started 1st kick all day long, and ran 100% tip top condition.. even being rode HARD!!!!!
i had to swip the tail light wiring to reconnect it but no bigge.. just wondering why hers wont run with out it hooked up??

92 fresh rebuild 6 hours on it, no lid and a answer slip on. 240 main

Did you unplug the box under the hood?? When I removed my tors back when I ran a stock carb I lost spark until I unplugged the box under the hood. Do what you did befor and check for spark if none than its that box.

The tors system is totally useless. I had lots of trouble with mine too.

i had it disconnected like i had bad biish . cut the wires at the thumb throttle and cut the wirers going into the carb box... and im guessing it had no spark, i hook it back up and it runs just fine.. but yet the same wqay on bad biish and i had no problems
