i sent my head out to be ported/polished, bored out .020 over.. and milled.

i have reeds, 28mm carb, this head, new headgasket k&n air filter..but stock exhaust. Would it be harmful or potentially dangerous if i ran this setup with the stock exhaust? i have nooo cash and still need to buy the damn piston so i need to keep saving..but would like to get this thing going

anyone for some input?

I agree 100% But the stock pipe will hold back alot of the performance gains you will get with a ported motor.Keep saving and buy one when you can.

yes i know that im def not keeping the stock sh*t but i just wanna get it all together and fire it out and maybe ride it a little..but im not keeping the stock exhaust forever, once i get some extra cash im buying either toomey/shearer/f7/lrd/paulturner something along those lines..whatever i can get my hands on.

i appluad you young bucks for moddin your bikes, but i've learned some patience with my modding, waiting for good deals to come along, such as my f7 pipe and lrd silencer - $130, cfm airbox - $50
all 4 like new tires and itp rims - $230, works front shocks - $150,
trx450r rear shock - $42, Pro Design billet intake - $40
so you see there's deals out there, just be patient and wait for them, whats the hurry to get done before the snow fly's???, unless you're workin on it outside
