Hey,
I'm new to the atv world. I just bought a Toomey exhaust kit with air filter and all that. I also will be install Boyeson RAD valve.
-Should i go buy other jets other than the 310 it comes with?

-Does anything else need changed in the carb, a/f mixture?

I also was thinking about getting a new spark plug while i'm at, any recommendations on what to get for the blaster?

That was more questions than i wanted to ask, sorry.

Thanks, Luke

You shouldnt have to rejet for reeds and the 310 that came with the pipe SHOULD be sufficient, but you should really always have a small array of jets to play with when youre venturing into the unknown.

Id go on rockymountainatv.com and order 2 more sizes up from your 310 just in case. So like a 310, 320, and a 330. I like to be on the safe side of things so Ill jet rich first, and if it bogs or fouls my plug Ill pull back, but youre way better off rich than lean.

And for spark plugs, buy yourself a few, you might foul a couple out getting your jetting down on that pipe.

NGK B8ES, BP8ES, BPR8ES all work.

i ran a 340 main in my stock carb with a toomey, i had the airbox lid off boyseen reeds and oil block off mixed at 32/1

I Yb200 is right on I have a 330 with my stock carb and it runs like a bat out of hell with pretty much the same upgrades as him. I think I am going to go up to a 350 after I finish my port job.

throw in a 330 and plug chop it. buy a NGKbr8es spark plug. always better to be on the rich side

also, go ahead and buy your self a pilot jet one size higher.

you will be very pleased with these results

hey, thanks. i got it on to today and the RAD valve and wow is it awesome. sounds so good and quick. I will go get a NGK plug and see it. right now it seems pretty good, but it lags a little bit when first getting on it. i might have to go to a 320.

hey,
I forgot to ask, do i need to change the a/f mixture screw, if so, how many turns? also does the needle need to me changed at all?

stupid question, where is the air screw at? i ws told that 1.5 turns out would work good compared to stock.
