{Project} BLACK BLUE AND SILVER TOO...

No updates unfortunately. Still looking for a motor that I can afford. My bro in-law hooked me up with a paintjob. He sprayed it professionaly so it should hold up pretty decent.I wanna look for some kind of thick clear vinyl to put on some wear places. Such as where you foot rubs the paint off and some other places. Not sure tho...

spray bomb paint is just as delicat as professional paint....
dont expect it to hold long if you trail ride..
im gessing maybe a season untill its all scratched up again

Well I know its gonna get scratched but oh well its a 4 wheeler. Powdercoating might be more durable but it scratches too. So whats easier and cheaper to touch up. Paint is so thats what I went with.

^^^Thanks...No I havent found an engine yet. I havent been able to check out the bottom end yet. Im gonna try to split the case sometime soon hopefully...

i hope you sanded that down better be for painting prep is they key for your paint sticking and turning out well!,and did you use self etching primer on that aluminum bumper just wondering because im painting my frame and some aluminum parts on my dirtbike

they make frame guards for that..

Looks great man!

I've actually been pulling parts off mine and doing the same thing. I like my blue plastics, but I'm trying to find a good color to change to. I just painted both of my foot rests and the skid plate/chain guard on the back. I used a black epoxy spray paint. Supposed to hold up better to chips and scratches. We'll see. I know that the underside will get torn up, but I'm more concerned with the visible parts. I can't seem to find a good color to go with the factory blue, so I just stuck with black. Can't go wrong with black and silver...they go well with any color.

No not as of right now. It might be a little while had some other stuff to take care of that were a lil bit more important that the blasty. But I got my warrior back so luckily ill still be riding.
