ok so yesterday i was reading my clymer manual and i saw in the back note section it said april 2006 installed wiseco piston and ring and 68 mm bore im guessing the guy that i bought it off wrote that in there.. does that mean it got a pretty good power gain from that? and also whats the stock bore size for a blaster?

negligable power gains from adding the few extra cc's
now that cylinder is past 1/2 life, treat her well !!!!

Like said, no power gain from over boring. The only power gain from it is from having a fresh bore with good compression over the worn out old bore.

Well it's been six years already. IT ALL DEPENDS ON MAINTENACE AND CARE. pLUS YOU WON'T KNOW if it's been bored since then. Do a compression test now to see how healthy it is, then you'll have a benchmark to reference to determin when it needs freshening up. With any luck it will only need rings at that time.

Sorry , cap lock :-[
