Predator 500

It did not feel right on the trail. Lots of slop and bump steer. Front end came up way to easy for my liking.

I had a guy ride with us with a predator back when I still had my Z400, I was not that impressed. There was a YFZ at the time with us also. That machine was much more impressive everywhere we tried them. Just my two cents :)

I have an '03 and I really like it, I just don't get to ride it much. They have some quirks like any other quad but they are pretty minor. There is quite a bit of torque on tap. The suspension is possibly the best I've ridden on a stock quad to date. The '03 has a longer swingarm than most Preds, so the front end stays well planted, you'll just need a tire with better forward traction, IE Razr II's over Razr I's, and I reccomend a 22" front tire for a bit more weight shift.

I rode an '05 TLD Pred and honestly prefered my '03, the only benefit to the '05 was reverse.

If I could, I'd take my YFZ back in a heartbeat but I had five times as much into that quad as I do my Predator.
