Hey guys and gals (if there are any around here),
I've been looking for a Blaster for a couple months locally and finally found one for sale by accident. It's a 1995 with 30hours on a new rotating assembly. He wants 750obo for it. Think it's a good deal? The price seems right compared to what I've found around my area. Here are the pics...

Low ball him first bro. See if you can get it for 500. See what he says you dont want to pay more than you have too. It looks all stock.

It looks good. I noticed it had no rear brake callipar :-/, the stator/front sprocket cover is broken :-/ so check the case by the front sprocket.

See how good she runs, ride it. If you like it buy it.I:I

Good eyes! Thanks!!!!

yea the case could be cracked and thats gonna be a good money fix.yea i would offer him 500-600 like everyone else said.no since in payin more than you have to and you could use the money you saved to buy some brakes

i'd save my money and buy somthin in a little better shape. i can pick those up around here for like 300 dollars, save like 1300 dollars and buy a nice kinda modded blaster that will last for a while and not need so much money, unless you are a guy who likes projects and stuff like that then i might pick it up.

I just talked to him and he said the pics were a couple months old and the caliper is there now and that the case is not cracked. I will probably end up with this one no matter what. I have been waiting for a deal to come about for MONTHS in my area. They are just hard to find under 1000 bucks. And 750 was about my max. I've owned many many motorcycles and dirtbikes so I'm not afraid of a little work. Thanks for all the tips!

Good to hear bro. Let us know how it works out. This is a great site, if you have a question you can find an answer here. I just bought my first Blaster a few weeks ago and I have learned alot about it fast. Plus alot of the peeps on here have some mean ass Blasters!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!I:I

Since you know your way around motorcycles and dirtbikes you will have no problem making it a nice ride bro!!!!!!!!!!

I am in agreement with fioz..... Build it, don't buy it!

I too bought my first blaster this year. I have learned more than I anticipated from just this site.

Good luck and let us know how it turns out!

I ended up getting it for $550! Seems to run pretty good. The motor was cold when I got there. It only took 2 kicks to fire up. Needs a lot of little shiz but should be a fun project!!

So I got to checking everything out lastnight in my own garage. Looks to have the airbox lid removed and the ghetto oil inj removal. I capped off the nipple on the carb for now. There was actually a little gas dripping out of it. Is that normal if I forgot to shut the petcock off? I plan on ordering Vito's kit, but just curious if gas should be leaking out of that nipple when it's not running.

Also, with the airbox lid off, what size jet should be in it? That is the only mod and I have a UNI filter coming from RockyMountain.
