in the near future when I tear the blaster apart again , I'm gonna do a vito's 240bb and +3 stroker , I also want a port job done , Is Flotek a member on hear that does this? I have some questions and maybe some business to send that way .

you would be better going with kennedy power or wildcard because flotek is all the way in PA shipping would kill you.

porting alone is about 200. generally when you port you bore it so add on about 60. then there is the money for the piston kit which is about 120. so total about 380 not including shipping

Dont go with flotek just cause everybody hails him,do your research on builders,go on different forums and search about them. I suggest calling flotek, kennedy and wildcard and go with the best that you think will treat you.

ok buying a vitos big bore kit is a cylinder, head, and a piston kit comes with it all for about 570. the stroker +3 crank is about 170. so that 740 for the bbk and crank. then add on the cost of porting your looking at 940 not including shipping

nice , will the 28mm carb still work ok with the bbk , or do you need to go bigger? is their a 34mm kehin carb? and can you still run on pump gas on the bbk?

the stock carb will work but wont be the greatest. they should make a 34mm kehin carb although not sure check ebay to find out. you can run pump gas on a ported 240 just tell your builder that you want to run gas and they will work out a setup so that you can run pump gas. also all these prices i am giving you are basic starting prices i cant say for sure that you will spend under 1000 on this setup but more than likely you will be paying more than 1000 because of the shipping prices

I expected to be paying about that 1000 to 1500 so its all good , I'll check with Kennedy , and the other as well , There is a local shop here as well I'll talk with them . What KInd of HP can I get with this set up? is 35-40HP? in the ballpark?

actually you should be looking at around 45 to 50 maybe more. Kennedy power has produced around 35 on a stock bore and stock stroke blaster.

you can have your cylinder resleeved for a BB sleeve. its cheaper, and just like the vitos kit. so that will save you some cash. i've seen a 3mm stroker BB make 50+ hp. pumpgas will probly be less, but run a 34mm keihin carb...they do make em...maybe even a 35....

when you port you dont have to bore, if the cyilinder is good, you hone it. dont run the vitos piston....nothing but problems, stick with wiseco...they are better....listen to me, ill save you a few bucks, and you'll end up getting the same thing for cheaper most liley, no need to buy another cylinder...trust me

contact flow tect they told me they got cylinders with la sleve for 600 something with everythig u need and i guess there spose to be pretty reliable

I'll do some more research for sure , anyone have experience with the +3 stroker , does the case need to be " trenched " or is that only when you go with the +4? thanks for the info guys

i wouldnt sacrafice quality over shipping cost. ive heard good things about Wildcard and Flotek.
i havent heard too many good reviews about Kennedy except from a few fans. i havent had anything ported yet, but i've been researching a ton here lately, because i want to be 100% certain that i dont waste my money. search around, just do your homework.

keep in mind, im not speaking from experiance here, just research.
