Porting and Polish??

understandable..so a better method for higher compression was what? reshaping the combustion chamber?

thats all part of the combustion chamber reshaping process.. gettign the squish clearance in check is part of having an efficent combustion chamber deisgn.. so you'll get the higher compression your looking for and as a bonus you'll also get a better performing setup with less timing and usually less octane.. your eliminating hot spots and your taking control of "end gas" issues..

370 is saying that you would be better off working on the shape of the combustion chamber first as it is the real problem with the blaster head. i am sure he would tell you that there is not a problem with milling the head to boost the compression if the combustion chamber has already been or is going to be addressed during the process. he is saying that your money will be better spent addressing the real issue which is the combustion chamber design as it will provide a more powerful and better running engine than just milling can produce. besides if i remember correctly some builders weld up additional metal in the combustion chamber so that they can change both the compression ratio and the chamber design.

maybe i should hire you as my translator.. haha
