I watched Ken O'Connor Racing's video on porting, I did what he said, it was easy and made a huge difference. You can find the video on his web site, on this site and on youtube. He explains what to do and what not to do in plain english. After watching Ken's video I asked a friend if I could borrow his Dremel and a few bits and got to work. There is nothing to be scared of, your not taking off huge amounts of material, there is NO risk of ruining your jug. Imo you have nothing to loose, you'll only gain. Ken gives you some simple info on angles that are easy to understand and accomplish. I did my jug in about 2 hours with no money invested. The engine runs far stronger after basic porting, I can tell a big difference. The thing won't stop pulling, I'm impressed. Top end is alot stronger and I did'nt loose any bottom end. If your jug has not been ported then this is a must read. Watch Ken O'Connor Racings video and do it yourself. Your engine will run far better and it's simple to do.

well.............since my sh!t is apart anyway, and i'm going to be getting a new jug when i have a professional port done.....mine may get some dremel love now that i have a job and can buy some bits.

I'll get pics up a.s.a.p. You gotta watch that video! It was'nt hard at all. I kinda enjoyed doing it. After seeing all the restrictions the air had to fight to go through the engine I had to do something. Ken OConnor is trying to help guys like us, I appreciate it. Ken did tell me that I'm the only person he knows of that has used his video. C'mon guys, he doesnt have to help us, he's just a cool dude that makes a living doing what he loves and wants to help. Lets use it.

Interesting, I've been wanting to do my own porting but had no idea how and what to do, but knew it was possible, seen people port big block race motors in their garage so a little 2-stroke can't be that hard....can it, lol. Now that I know about his vid I may have to break down and watching it and dig me up a dremel.

I am ordering a flex shaft dremel knockoff tool as I type and looking at a handful of burrs and stones.

I'll be convert number two to the O'Conner DIY porting job on the spare jug I have on the shelf.

great vid I ported mine similar to the one in the vid and it has way better mid and top end worth the effort very easy to do just do what he did and it will work out great

i just watched those videos last night. i had a dremel and i used it outside and my dog ate it. so i have to wait till Christmas to see if santa will bring me a new one...
