Me and my buddy have a blaster and a Polaris Predator 500, and we both live on a little dirt road, and we have a lot of neighbors for living in the country, but i feel pretty bad for them, because we always drive past like 7 houses to get to the trails and it sounds like the quads are inside their house with them...Has anyone else here done something similar?

Yea, me and my buddies live in a small town and we always get up at like 6 am on most saturdays to ride and i always feel bad bcuz we have to ride past quite a few houses on our way out to the trails that we ride on and we all have loud 4wheelers
When I drive by houses I always put the quad into a higher gear and just cruise by at a slower speed. It keeps the noise of the quad down a little and the neighbors don't mind. What'll really get people pissed is when you start flying by on the pipe, thats usually when you start running into problems with people complaining.
same here got to keep them happy or they get a little call happy and give a call to the boys in blue then you can all get the nice tickets that the cops seem to like giving out
One of my neighbors I would go through her yard and she called the cops so I have to go around her property line, witch is hard being that you tip over because your going sideways across a steep hill. The land I ride on is all state so I can get in big sh*t if i get caught.
I have one neighbor that is a biotch about me riding. My dads a cop so it really doesnt matter. lol
The sad thing is it doesn't matter what you do. Your always gonna have someone that is going to complain.
ya i lived on a farm for a lot of years, i learnt to upshift when going around the cows on a 2 stroke. they will freak out and smash boards down haha
i live in town ( city of 42k) and i ride mine down the street and to a parking lot now and then for testing and tuning, and the occasional hey i just wanna take aride... i do it in the afternoon when i know no one is sleeping.. if there is no kids outside playin i will get on the pipe a little bit, but if there are kids playing ill put down the road in 2nd at 10 mph tell im clear of kids than jump on the pipe
I Know how you feel. I was over at my friends house last saturday. He just bought a trx700xx last fall, and has only had a chance to take it to the trails once. So needless to say he is getting a little anxious to get it out. He just took it for a spin down the road and back, no faster than maybe 35-40mph. What do you see next? The neighbor out with his camera "hiding" beside his car taking pics as he rides by. (Little advice: if your going to hide dont wear a bright orange shirt. were not deer, we can see color)

Alot of the land I ride on is state too. I ride around some old stone quarries locally. Alot of fun. I haven't had anyone really complain to me yet. I live in a really small town, it's not even on most maps.
hahaha, we have christian neighbors, we have to trailer ours to the trails, but when we are tuning mine and doing anything to them we always take them for a spin,lol, his 4 stroke with the big gun exhaust and my blaster winding out with a lrd, only had the cops come once but we found it wasn't for us, but the neigbors and their drug dealing,but the neighbors love us! never give us grief about it.
I ride mostly bogs and pits with a little bit of trails. Most of the trails are on my father's acreage. But the bogs man, they hate us. They've tried everthing to keep us out. The pits, they don't care, even though half of the pit is a bog. We have fires and sh*t there all the time. As for riding the roads I generally do what stroker said.
oh yeah we do it to the neighbors, mine is quite loud, so if one neighbor pisses us off we get on em and rip up n down the street as bad as we can be lol, then we put them in the garage and close it before the cops come, lol, they never do though!
i can usually fly through little streets to go to where i usually ride which is usually safe from cops or anything but i went through the main street of my town today and ended up having to put the foot down as a guy was actually trying to stop me i was like wtf needless to say a little detour over some pavement and fields and he was eating dust
