Plug?

i am running all my mods with a 270 main jet
mods are listed in my sig, but anyways i had just did a plug chop WOT for about a block or 2 and took the plug out and half of it looked brand new still and the other half was on the brownish black side
any ideas?

oh and what plugs are you guys running? im still using the stock plugs

That jet sounds small for your mods, i run a 260 with my mods and that is stock exhaust. I still use B8ES plugs in mine, i have heard of people using a 7 instead of an 8 though.

if it was a new plug it takes some time for it to start showing color...with a new plug you have to look down inside it...you will see a dark ring around the porcelain..as long as it has the ring and a little color down inside its not too lean...depending on temps and elavation the 270-290 range seems about right for the main jet...and i always ran the standard NGK b8es plgs in my trail quads..never had a problem and they run great.
