Please help! (VERY simple.. )

HI all.

Can someone please take a foto of the clutch cable that is mounted on the
lever on the engine block itself.. I can´t figure out how to put the cable in the "holder/lock" ..

cant get ya a picture right now, but theres a little sheetmetal tab that bends up to remove the old one and then slip the new one in and bend it back down to hold the new one in place, chances are that if your old one broke it came out without bending the tab up,

Its a good picture.. to far away though.. so i cant see it properly.. but it was my friend and not me that took it off.. so i dident pay attention to it!

But i think the problem is that its not bend down during removal.

So i bend it a little, slide cable in.. then bend carefully up again.

I don't bend it at all. I just take the clutch lever off the perch and then it has enough slack that I can just feed it through the holder to the engine lever and connect it then reconnect the perch. I hope that makes sense.

yeah try not to bend it. I ordered a new one and it's pretty thick. I would either get slack to take cable off or take off cylinder nut to remove it ,install it on cable then put nut back on.
