Theres a saying, "You get what you pay for" buy the wiseco, jet for your mods, leakdown test and you'll be set.

well u can go cheap and get not as good quality or you can spend the little more for a forged piston and get better quality. go for the forged and get a wiseco. i think you can find some deals on ebay for pistons for like 80 bucks with rings piston and wristpin

Namura is the one your talking about, but the namura is a cast piston and the wiseco is a forged. As long as your jetted for your mods and dont have a leak in your motor, it would be best to spend the extra 20 bucks on a piston that will last twice as long.

agreed wiseco will last way longer. if you dont beat the dog piss out of it. make sure you dont have a air leak. you mix the gas right if injection is deleted

I don't mix the gas.. There's a separate spot for the 2 stroke oil

so then go with wiseco and just make sure u dont have a air leak about every month and it should last u a while.

I dont have a leaks own tester.. Is it worth getting? Don't you just put it in the spark plug spot then give it a kick

depends on where u go and how much paper u want to give up. if you send it to koc raceing i think he charges like 200 for a top end rebuild. but cant get any better then him the link to his web site is in my link. check it out call him his customer service is amazing

Me too lol.. I am getting the top end rebuilt soon and then I will ask him to do a leak down test. I would send It to ken but it's just easier to take it to my guy. Plus I'm getting it rebuilt for 260 and that includes parts. I hope it's not to much extra for a leak down test

talk to slickerthenyou he sells leak down testers for cheap. so then you can do it yourself

That is somewhat incorrect! To leak test a motor you remove the carb, insert the tool into the intake and pressurize to 7psi.

What your thinking is a compression test. that tool screws into the spark plug, and you hold the throttle open and kick it until the needle on the gauge stops usually 5-10 kicks.

U can make a leak test tool that would screw into the plug hole. you still need to remove the carb and plug the intake and exhaust.
