Piston Question

Do what you want but consider yourself warned if "the guy around the corner" bricks your cylinder...

Do yourself a favor and pay the couple bucks to ship it to ken and have it done right...just saying

And wiseco again all the way!!!

send it to ken send it to ken send it to ken send it to ken send it to ken send it to ken send it to ken send it to ken send it to ken send it to ken send it to ken send it to ken.

the guy i went to really knew his stuff was what i thought when i knew nothing like you. not an insult just the truth. I use to be the same way.

Ahhhhhhhhhhhhh im glad im not young anymore for reasons like this lol

why would you even take the chance?

A pinto will get you from A to B but why go with a pinto when you can drive a ferarri?Im telling you the mans work is second to none!!!

In all reality you wont own or get jack squat for them bricking your jug.I did 2 years in a local machine shop as an apprentice when i was going through college and trust me even if they bricked it on purpose you couldnt prove it theres too many variables they could blame it on your cylinder was this that and everything in between. You do what you want but remember you get what you pay for and theres a reason why we are recommending ken oconnor!

ok guys, yes ken does a great job but you sound like fools trying to cram him down this dudes throat.. local shops can do a good job also.. i have had 2 bores done at a local shop with perfect results for $35.

Trust does go along way when it comes to shop services. Once a local gains that trust it can be very convenient, faster, as well as cheaper (no to and from shipping).
I have a local guy that does all my boring. Hell he will hone it for free inbetween ring changes.
If you need port work or other specialty shop services it makes sense to have them do the boring as well if they can. It's just less hassle that way since your shipping it out any ways.

This is what im saying ive dealt with them before and everyone where im from takes there stuff there and if i get what i pay for then my local shop must be better then Ken seeing as though he charges 55 for a bore job while my local shop charges 60
