Pipe and silencer?

okay guys ill be wanting a pipe and silencer soon i have a budget of around 250 (euro) whats the best for power nothing else?and are fmf bad for power ? i like the look of the powercore II but would the silencer make any power or sound difference at all i know its mainly the pipe ? thnks I:I

the silencer will change the sound as well. FMF isn't a bad choice, but not that best.

i would go with a bills they make great power and sound good too but ive heard great things about f7s but fmfs are not the greatest pipe there decent but not as good as say a f7

the f7 and powerpro's i believe are the same pipe as well as one or two others. personally, i have an f7 and it feels like it makes a little more power than stock down low, but most of your gain is up top of the rpm range. and from what i've heard, this pipe isnt as good on a stock engine as it would be on a ported and built machine. what i'm trying to say is that for your situation, there may be better choices out there

get a used toomey for a stock bore or find a used factory 7 or a dynoport for big bore.

In your situation with not much motor work and mods, i'd say a toomey is your best choice. FMF would not be a bad upgrade at all, you can get em cheap on egay.
