lads started the blaster let her heat up 4 ten min r so, then took the her out around the block maybe 5 min on the road, got back to house and it seemed to me it was give alot more heat than any other day, whats the right temp and how do i check it. could i put a temp gage on her and how.its a 2006 blaster stockish

Only thing that comes to mind is an infra-red gauge like is used for RC cars. Far as safe temp my guess would be 200 or so.
Check your plug, might be running lean.

I was being consevative, probably best if he checks his plug for lean condition if he thinks it's running hot and hadn't noticed it before. Long hard ride properly jetted is a lot different than 5 min around the block.

yes right above 200 with spot on jetting and hard riding. Also dont quote me on this but if you have a toomey pipe your temps should be higher maybe like 250-260ish. I've read that toomeys run hotter.
