Yesterday I emptied my tranny oil left my quad alone for the rest of the day and I ride it for a few minutes and realized I forgot to put new oil in it
Oops (I now have oil in it lol)
actually, you can run your clutches dry. it wont harm them. some old bikes of the past run a dry clutch seperate from the trans. since the new modern age of motors, the trans and clutch share the same area. so the fluid has to ne conpatible for both gear life and clutch life. sure a dry clutch will wear quicker, but it can be done. but not in a blaster...lol oh, and im sure a dry clutch is made from a different compound than a wey clutch also.
hey we all make mistakes you just got blessed.Live and learn bro.I used to work at an auto shop on my 1st day the boss told me to pull this car ouyside that was on the lift,no checking or work just pull outside.Well the guy that worked on it got canned the day before had drained the oil and not refilled.I started it shut it off right away. But to late
Wow what was the outcome with the car did you blow it ? One time I was changing the oil in my mothers dodge Durango and she had a remote start and it was set for Canada time and would randomly start so after I drained the oil and the oil out of the oil filter the car started I was pretty worried because that would of been lots of money down the drain but again I got lucky and shut the car off in time
