Well the other day i was searching ebay and I came accross a used Shearer Blaster pipe for........$75.00 shipped. Well I couldnt pass that up so I bought it. It was PRetty rusted and looked like crap when we got it. Because I just got a brand new Shearer pipe I gave it to my twin brother for his FMF. I put the FMF on my wifes blaster. Now CC&Fabb has a Shearer Pipe. Great Pipe. We cleaned off all the rust, and painted it with high temp engine paint. here are the before and after pics.

Before: pretty rusted but all the hardware was there.

And after with high temp gloss black engine paint.

ummm im gonna have to say no. they guy i got it from owns a shop and did some work to the blaster. well the customer never came and got it so they let it sit outside for 2 years until they decided to part it out. the silencer portion has some rust in it, and i think it effected the baffles some. still sounds great though.

I like it...and where ever he put "we did" it was really I did. LOL, but it is a great pipe and I cant wait to run it tomorrow.

And yes Tim, the pipe does sound just as good as djacks... We didnt really get to rev it up though because Djack lives in a HOA.

soo.. when you guys get a chance PLEASE get some riding vids with the shearer pipes

fabb.. djack... check into VHT Flame proof exhaust paint.. its made for high temp stuff as in headers and exhaust manofold.. it will hold up better than engine paint, and ya can get a nice flat silver color.... like this...

dont mind the dark spot in the close up.. i touched the pipe before the paint was dry.. i think that stuff will give fabbs blaster a cleaner look

you guys need to start using that high temp por-15. That stuff is flipping magical. I use the regular por-15 on my VW bug stuff and NOTHING I mean NOTHING gets thru to rust the metal.

Best rust preventative ever.

I think you need a tail light to match that head light, blastapole. Haha.

back to the thread...good find, I've been combing over auctions for the last week or so and I've found quite a few good deals. Just gotta convince the wifey that the parts are NECESSARY. haha

me i just buy them and explain myself to her when she sees the money missing, when i tell her i will put it back, she stops bitching but then i find another part and use the money i was going to replace the money i spent, shes forgotten, lol, im a tricky sob
