im not sure wat the oil ratio is with the oil injection, but what im thinking is putting a little extra oil in my gas just to help out.
so how much would you guys recomend adding to each gallon of gas i put into the tank? and also would this throw my jetting off?

thanks to anyone who responds its very much appriciated

just premix 4 oz to a gal if you add 1 oz to a gal and your injection fails your still going to be screwed..

this is more for ring life and cooler running if i leave the injection on and run 1 ounce for every gallon what would my oil ratio be? (the injection will be removed after while) basicaly what would i have to add to gas to be running 32:1

you would have to remove some of the oil comming from the injection to get to 32 to 1.
if the injection mix's at 24 to 1 and you add more oil to the gas you would be running like 20 to 1 or 18 to 1 and thats just way to much oil .. my advice if you insist on doing that is buy some extra plugs cause your gonna need em..

ok my blaster doesnt seem to use this much oil, how long does a tank of oil usually last with a correctly working blaster

i dont know about the tank of oil that is the first thing everyone will suggest to remove..
you really like the injection huh??

no, im going to be getting rid of the injection. but i thought blasters had a lot les oil to the gas than this. i wanted to get it to 32:1 but im more than that so i cant do it until my pump is removed and i premix. also could my pump be malfunctionin causing it not to pump as much oil as others?

i ran myin for the first time yesterday at 32-1 and the damn thing had way to much oil it was smokin like a biotch and i had to replace the sparkplug i think im gonna run 40-1 ne more

I have yet to see an injector pump fail. My RT has been running it since 98 aswell as my first Blaster, never had an issue. Unless you're running a heavily modified bike I don't see a reason in getting rid of it.

I had a stock blaster and my injection went within the first week of owning it. They are piece of sh*t system. Get rid of it or it's going to cost you.

you dont need the block off kit to remove the injection, ripp everything off and plug the oil inlet on the carb..
