/\ /\ Im fairly certain your sig pic is not big enough... might need to get one a little bigger...
Yeah, I wasnt riding alone when this happened. But I was riding with a buddy on a dirtbike (on one of MY dirtbikes actually) and it didnt have a paddle... that being said, there was no way of towing it back (and we didnt have a strap either)... so I sent him off to get my truck... that took like 40 minutes... I didnt get it though... the dunes were PACKED right up to the poin that the damn thing died... then it was a ghost town. Go figure.
No, I really like my little quad though. Workin on some port work now. Im no stranger to building frankenstiens. I have build, run and sold 5 different Honda Odyssey FL250s. Nothing stock. The smallest of the batch was a Polaris 340cc Twin sled motor... the biggest was a 500 Arcitc cat twin. Usually had to do full suspension or it was unrideable (too much power and too much weight for ridig suspension).
Otherwise, I have build my fair share of pocket bikes, scooters, Nitro RC stuff - basically anything with a throttle - and naturally had to stuff WAY more power in them then they were designed for. I had a chinese Cag style pocket bike (the REALLY little ones) that i did some port work, fully built and designed and built my own wet nitorus kit... 85mph on 2 small wheels with your ass 5 inches from the asphalt is completely terrifying but oh so fun at the same time.
Also an avid motorcycleist, and currently own an 08 MV Agusta Brutale 910S, a 99 Honda Superhawk, an 83 and 84 Yamhiha IT490, a chinese 200cc thumper dirtbike (for my better half), and another cag pocket bike with 70cc big bore, headwork, intake, timing, exhaust and nitrous... also the blaster and one of my frankenodysseys... and a busted ass stock go-ped. had a few modified sleds in the past and a dozen or so other street bikes.
I do all my own work on everything so im fairly skilled at the mechanical aspect of most things so fortunately this blaster is rather rudamentry compared to some of the stuff I have to work on on a regular basis.
All that being said again, thanks for the welcome and look forward to contributing. The benefit of me here is that I never seem to have the money for proper tools... as a result I have gotten REALLY good at making sh*t work. I can help out the rest of us that dont have big budgets. I have been known as mcgyver from time to time. LOL. Also look forward to learning a bunch as this quad thing is fairly new to me. I have had my blaster for many months now but that aint sh*t.
